Meek Mill just dropped the new video for his single “Oodles O’Noodles Babies” on Wednesday (June 5). The visuals make a powerful statement about the vicious cycle of the criminal justice system.
The video appears to follow the story of one family. It begins in 2006 with a boy witnessing his father go to prison at a young age. Fast forward to 2017, the little boy is now a man and is faced with the same dilemma that his father once had to deal with. Now, he has a little boy of his own that potentially has to grow up without a dad in his life.
“Oodles O’Noodles Babies” is from Meek’s 2018 album, Championships. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold by the RIAA in Jan. 2019.
In other news, the Philly native was granted a new hearing in his decade-long drug and gun conviction case. Watch the video “Oodles O’Noodles Babies” above.
