It looks like bad news is heading Meek Mill’s way again. According to TMZ, the “Lord Knows” rapper might face possible jail time for a probation violation.
The reason for Meek’s reported court appearance today (Dec. 10) is that he apparently failed to notify his parole officer that he was traveling out of Philadelphia, thus failing to obtain and complete a travel request form to leave the city. It’s suspected that the MMG cohort attended the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on Nov. 22, that being the reason he’s possibly in bad standing with the law.
It’s unclear how long Meek might spend in jail if found guilty, but a similar situation occurred in 2014. He was sentenced to three to six months behind bars for a violation of his parole which stemmed from a 2009 drug and gun charge.
On Thursday morning, the Philly native posted a message to his fans, asking for their prayers that the outcome of his court appearance will be in his favor.
“Pray 4 me… it’s in gods hands!” he wrote.
