Rick Ross dropped by to spend some quality time with Meek Mill amid his recent house arrest on Wednesday (Mar. 16). Meek was slapped with the 90-day order after a Philadelphia judge concluded that he was in violation of his parole set in 2009 after drug and gun charges. Taking effect on Mar. 1, the rapper has been regulated to his home, and his MMG leader came through with moral support–and his matching house arrest ankle monitor.
In a video posted to social media, Rick Ross and Meek Mill show off their court-ordered accessories, as the former offered a couple of words.
“God bless the hustlers and the soldiers. We gon’ be alright, stay focused.”
Ross was placed on house arrest after allegedly pistol-whipping his groundskeeper. The rapper posted $2 million bail after being taken into custody on assault and kidnapping charges. He was released from house arrest back in November. He was recently charged by a grand jury with aggravated assault, kidnapping, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm while committing a crime. During Meek Mill’s probation violation hearings, he reportedly tried to convince the judge that he was committed to changing his former life.
“I just want to ask you for a chance to turn that corner and be a changed man,” he said, according Billboard. “You said you saw something in me … I want to prove you right. I believe I can be the bright star you intended me to be.”
Hopefully after their latest transgressions, Rick Ross and Meek Mill will be able to stay out of trouble’s way. Peep their Instagram posts from their latest pow-wow below:
