Meek Mill is a grown ass man.
Not to say the rising Philly rapper wasn’t already a mature individual when he stepped onto the rap scene years ago, but his new found success and travels really have matured the 27-year old star.
Currently, Meek is fighting a longstanding probation restriction that keeps him from moving out of his hometown of Philadelphia. Earlier this morning on HOT97, Mil explained how he felt the need to leave the city for his own safety. “Y’all check our murder rate? It’s like a a mini Chicago,” Meek continues. “Me moving out of Philly is life or death”
The MMG underboss also talked about a diss record he had in the stash after Kendrick Lamar unleashed his unforgettable “Control” verse.
“Actually, I put a diss together in the studio. I gave 80 rappers hell on that joint. I seen 2 Chainz, I said, “2 Chainz you my dog, but you almost caught it.” He said, “I mess with you, man. You the first rapper who told me you was about to come at me.”
