A spokesperson for Melania Trump is calling for a boycott of T.I. after he filmed and shared a video on social media of him watching a woman with the likes of the First Lady stripping in the Oval Office. The spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, called T.I.’s actions both “disgusting” and unacceptable.
It all started when T.I. shared a one-minute video on Twitter on Oct. 12, which suggested the First Lady gets buckwild when her husband leaves the White House to attend to business. In the video, T.I. takes a seat in the Oval Office while a Melania lookalike strips in front of him. “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye,” The Dime Trap artist captioned the clip, which references Trump’s recent “lunch” with Ye.
Not amused by the gesture, Grisham responded to a report on the video, saying, “How is this acceptable,” using the hashtags, “disgusting” and “boycottT.I.”

When asked to elaborate on her initial thoughts, Grisham told People on Tuesday (Oct. 16), that everyone must be respectful towards the First Lady of our country, “like it or not.” “It’s disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics,” she added. “These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country — it needs to stop.”
T.I. has always been outspoken about his distaste for Trump and the first family. He has heavily criticized Trump’s campaign against the NFL and Colin Kaepernick’s silent protests. The rapper most recently bashed Kanye for meting with the president.
“All I can say is… I’ve reached my limits. This is my stop, I’m officially DONE!!!! [F—] Trump & his Lil Cookie Boy,” he said in a post on social media of Trump and Kanye. “At one time it was a pleasure to work alongside you… Now, I’m ashamed to have ever been associated with you.”
He continued: “Don’t follow this puppet, because as long as I’ve lived I’ve learned that it benefits a man nothing at all to gain the world, if to do so he must lose his soul. We just saw Mr. West’s Soul on auction. If you listen closely you can hear the tears of our ancestors hit the floor.”
