With the end of President Obama’s term drawing nearer and nearer, people are on edge as the possibility of a regrettable candidate replacing him in the Oval Office gets more and more real. Donald Trump is a name that makes many of our entertainers shudder a little, Metro Boomin especially.
The man responsible for the “If Young Metro don’t trust you, Ima shoot you” production ad-lib is taking his distrust for the toupeed presidential candidate to the next level by throwing an “anti-Trump” (used loosely here) concert of just days ahead of Election Day.
New York City’s PlayStation Theater will play host to the producers’s Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump show on Nov. 4. The best part about it is that, in all actuality, the concert is a purposeful fundraiser. All proceeds will go towards the establishment of a college scholarship fund that will send one graduating high school senior from the St. Louis area to attend Atlanta’s Morehouse college, Boomin’s alma mater.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Thursday (Sept. 22) at 10 a.m. EST for those on his email list, and general sale tickets will be available on Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.
