It turns out the Migos wasn’t Offset’s first introduction to the music business. In fact, the rapper revealed that he used to be a backup dancer for Whitney Houston, and there is proof to verify his claim.
Offset revealed the news on his Instagram account by sharing a vintage photo of him and a group of boys posing with Houston.
“I BEEN DOING THIS ENTERTAINMENT GOD MY WITNESS WHICH ONE IS ME,” he wrote in the caption.
The photo was reportedly taken behind the scenes of Houston’s 2002 music video for “Whatchulookinat.” In the video, a young Offset appears to be wearing a suit while pop-locking in front of the legend.
The rapper may have had moves back in the day, but now he’s focusing his energy on new music. He’s gearing up to release his debut solo album on Dec. 14. He is the last Migos member to drop a solo project. While we wait for it to drop, check out Offset flexing his dance skills in Whitney Houston’s “Whatchulookinat” starting at the 2:18-minute mark in the video above.
