Miguel caused a bit of controversy with fellow R&B brethren Frank Ocean when he basically stated he thinks his music is the bees-knees and Frankie baby’s music is whacksauce.
Kidding. That’s totally not what the WILDHEART crooner said during an interview with The Sunday Times. Here’s the real quote:
“I wouldn’t say we were friends. To be completely honest — and no disrespect to anyone — I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around,” he said. “It’s interesting, but we’ll see who’s in it for the long haul. It’s like a marathon, you know?”

When word got out Miguel was feeling himself, some took to Twitter to either offer the “Coffee” singer a virtual dap in support or tried to GPS the nearest park bench for the performer so he could have a seat.
Miguel is the better artist but so, we can still like both. Miguel is being cranky. Sounds like he needs some peen and a hot shower.

It’s Miguel’s job to think he makes better music than Frank Ocean. Delusional or not.

Realizing his comments may have come off like he was sitting under a tree and enjoying all the shade he issued, Miguel took to Twitter to further explain himself.

Whatever you say, Miguel.
