Everyone knows that Katy Perry is prepping to take her place on the field this weekend for the XLIX Super Bowl half-time show, but did you know that Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott are also performing?
Earlier this month, the she announced that Lenny would be joining her during her half-time performance. Today (Jan. 30), AP added onto the surprises by reporting the the return of Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott and the performance of her 2002 hit “Work It.”
After the 2006 release of her greatest hits album, “Respect M.E.”, she went on a hiatus. A hyperthyroid disorder called Graves’ disease had inhibited her from working. She opened up about it to People magazine back in 2011. Thankfully after strenuous treatments, her condition stabilized and she is now getting back to working on her music career. This hasn’t been the first time that Missy Elliot and Katy Perry have performed together either, so nothing less than a fire dynamic is expected.
