Their feud began back in the early 2000s after Nas did an interview with Power 105.1, where he called out several rappers and DJs like Jay Z, Cam’ron, Nelly, Funk Master Flex and Noreaga.
In 2011, Noreaga did an interview with ThisIs50.com where he spoke on why he couldn’t mend things with Nas. “He was the intro to the whole album, so he had to hear this album prior to doing that when he got on the radio,” he said. “Even though he called me and said sorry, I had never got over that incident, so that’s why you kept hearing me saying little bullsh*t. But that was the young N.O.R.E. If I had the chance to do it all over, I would.”
