Public School and New Era have come together to release a Major League Baseball hat collaboration that revises the classic New York Mets and Yankees logo.
This is the first time in history where a brand was granted permission to renovate the Yankee and Met logos with permission from the leageue. To help model the collection, they brought in Queensbridge hip-hop legend, Nas and legendary rap group, The Lox. The campaign was shot by photographer Bon Duke, who drew inspiration from Chi Modu’s 1992 set images of Nas his Queensbridge projects.

The four limited edition hats feature the iconic NY trademarks combined with “Public School” and “Where NY Lives” — which are seen in the interior labels on the hats. Team colors for both teams will remain the same — and two hats will be adjustable dad caps while the other two will be original fit snapback silhouettes.
The collection was released at the Public School x New Era pop-up shop in NYC. Each limited edition hat is set at a price of $75 and will also be available online on Public School’s official website.
