Before Naturi Naughton landed the role as Tasha St. Patrick on the wildly addictive Starz drama Power, she was one third of girl’s group 3LW with The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams. Things went left and she was kicked out, but that didn’t stop Naughton’s success or her love of music.
Before Sunday’s (Oct. 30) mash up between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Utah Jazz, the 32-year-old was tasked with performing the National Anthem in front of a packed crowd. It’s been a while since fans witnessed this side of Naughton, and let’s just say she did not disappoint.
#TeamTasha was in full effect supporting Naughton’s performance. “She always could sing, and is a damn good actress. Y’all better stop sleeping on her talent,” one user commented.
There’s no word if Naughton will use her renewed stardom from Power to get back in the studio, but if she did we wouldn’t be mad at all.
