Nelly has been detained after a search of his tour bus in Putnam County, Tenn. uncovered drugs such as marijuana, meth, and multiple handguns, AP reports.
A Tennessee state trooper initially pulled over Nelly’s bus around 9:20 a.m. on Saturday (April 11), because the vehicle failed to “display a U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker,” the news site states. But when the officer approached the bus and smelled the scent of marijuana a search began.
The St. Louis native is currently facing charges of felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nelly had a similar run in with the law in October 2012 when police officials raided his tour bus and found heroin, marijuana, and guns on the vehicle. He was not arrested, however.
