September may have just started, but Gucci Mane has warned fans that Woptober is not that far away. Guwop took to Instagram to announce that he has a new album coming soon.
“WIZOP! #WoptoberComingSoon NEW ALBUM ALERT !!” Gucci captioned a picture of him on Instagram. And it turns out, fans have already gotten a little taste of the project, formerly entitled Woptober. Earlier in the month, Guwop unveiled the album’s first single, “Last Time” featuring Travis Scott. He followed the music release, by posting another image on Instagram of him posing with his longtime collaborator, Young Rudolph, promising a new video from the duo.
Still fresh out the pen, Gucci has been making many power moves. He’s already finessed collaborations with Kanye West and Drake. And his new Woptober album is following the well-received release of Everybody Looking.
Woptober hasn’t been given an official release date, but as any one who has a clear understanding of the monthly calendar can see, it’s likely we’ll be seeing the new project pop up sometime in October 2016.
