We told you guys a little over a year ago that Nick Grant can spit. And the South Carolina native continues to show and prove. With his newest offering, “Aaliyah’s Room” featuring B. Hess, the Culture Republic MC still raps like he’s trying to get a deal.
The mellow kicks and snares compliments NG’s crisp voice and liquefied flow. With Hess crooning an Aaliyah-inspired hook, the 29-year-old Grant mixes wittiness with ear-catching game for the hearts and minds of some lucky young ladies.
“Got the heart and the gift, it’s an art to this shit, and them niggas got the paint from us/I got harder/Flow Harvard,” raps Grant.
Based on his Instagram account, where he’s constantly seen in the studio, NG seems to be hard at work on his forthcoming project, Dreaming Out Loud, which is the follow-up to Return of the Cool, released earlier this year.
