Rookie rapper, Nick Grant, continues to add new traits to his lyrical prowess. This week, unfortunately inspired by the killing of Alton Sterling and Grant delivers a heartfelt song, “Blackboy/Whiteboy,” about Blacks and Whites.
Here, Grant details some of the stereotypes among Blacks and Whites such as all black men rap, white women are submissive, spoiled and prom queens while Black girls are aggressive and drug addicts, among many others.
Hip-hop heads know that Grant can for bar for bar, but on “Blackboy/Whiteboy,” he proves that he deliver mature and serious content as well.
Since dropping his debut mixtape, ’88, NG performed on Dave East’s Hate Me Now tour, and released new singles like “The Game,” and “For Love.”
