According to reports, Nicki Minaj‘s boyfriend Kenneth Petty plead guilty to driving with a suspended license, after cops pulled him over for speeding through a stop sign in Long Island last September.
“According to court files, obtained by TMZ, Kenneth Petty pled guilty in New York to aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Kenneth’s gotta pay $88 in fines and clear his license,” writes the gossip site.
While the total amount in fines is nothing too serious, this is not the first time Petty has been on the wrong side of the law. Per reports, Minaj’s boyfriend of several months was convicted of first-degree attempted rape and manslaughter.
Late last year, TMZ revealed court documents revealing that Petty had a slew of various disciplinary actions while he was in a New York prison facility.
“Nicki’s BF was written up 18 times from 2006 to 2013 while he was serving time for a manslaughter conviction in New York. Some of Petty’s violations were major — he got slapped with 2 violent conduct violations in 2010 for threats and fighting,” the site reads. “Before that, he also racked up another fighting violation, and 5 violations for disobeying a direct order.”
Minaj has been vocal about standing by Petty despite reports against him.
