It comes as no surprise that Nicki Minaj is setting her sights beyond the the judges’ panel on American Idol but the firecracker rapper took to Twitter to confirm what the world already knew.
Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!

The adios comes after Minaj made nice with Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 this past week, gave Lil Kim a shout-out and is hard at work on her new film The Other Woman alongside Cameron Diaz. But the possibility for a truce with former co-judge Mariah Carey seems highly unlikely as the “#Beautiful” songbird is also making her Idol exit and preparing for a world tour. Randy Jackson has also announced his departure while country superstar Keith Urban has yet to confirm his status. In spite of the headlining drama throughout the singing competition’s twelfth season, Minaj said she took up the offer for her fans. “One of the reasons I did Idol was because when there were rumors circulating about me doing Idol, my fans were saying ‘(gasp) we’re gonna get to see Nicki on TV every week?,;” she told AI host Ryan Seacrest. “I wouldn’t be doing this without that kind of bond that I have with my fans.” Jennifer Hudson and Bruno Mars are rumored to be in talks with the show’s producers to occupy the judges’ seats next season.
