It’s always interesting when Nicki Minaj speaks with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. The rap songstress left no question unanswered when she dialed in Monday morning (Oct. 16), just a day after lighting up Brooklyn, NY, for her performance at TIDAL’s annual charity show.
Keeping it light and cheeky, Nicki opened up about her twerking moments on and off stage at the Barclays Center Sunday evening (Oct. 15). When asked why she seemed hesitant in the middle of her twerking session, the rapper explained she was weary about the photographers catching her from the wrong angles.
Other topics included the batch of female emcees taking over the game. For Ms. Onika, the Queens native is a big fan of Brooklyn’s Young M.A. “I got a thing for Young M.A., something about her I really love,” she said.
Minaj also reminded listeners of her humbleness. She went on describing how Lauryn Hill impacted almost everyone throughout her career. The 33-year-old rapper also got a compliment from Hov himself at the end of her performance saying, “I’ve never seen her like this, whatever she’s on she needs to stay on that.”
Jay-Z might have had this reaction from Minaj’s outburst during the concert about what it means to have a powerful woman by your side.”Cause Barack needed Michelle, b***h, and Bill needed a motherf**king Hillary, b***h. You better pray to God you don’t get stuck with a motherf**king Melania,” she said in the viral clip.
