Nicki Minaj is gearing up for a big music release next week. The rapper announced Tuesday evening (Nov. 20) that she will be putting new life into her standout single “Good Form” with a remix featuring Lil Wayne.
Nicki hinted at the new remix with cover art of her lying in a glass of milk with a half-eaten cookie. Mike Will Made-It, who reportedly produced the track, also teased its release on Instagram, claiming the single is a “banger.”
The original version of “Good Form” appeared on Nicki’s most recent studio album, Queen. The song instantly became a fan favorite, garnering many videos of Barbz dancing to it on social media.
Of the song’s conception, Minaj revealed that she freestyled the entire song. “First time, one take,” she told Zane Lowe of the song’s creative process. “My reference track. Every cadence, every flow, was all my mumbles. But I went back and wrote raps to my mumble flow. My fans heard a little snippet of that in my Benz commercial.”
Nicki and Wayne have previously collaborated on a number of tracks this year including “Rich Sex” off the Queen album and “Dark Side of the Moon,” which appeared on Tunechi’s highly-anticipated album Tha Carter V.
The “Good Form (Remix)” is slated to drop on Nov. 27. Check out the announcement below.
