As Nicki Minaj prepares for the release of her recently announced album, the Queens native stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to not only discuss what she’s been up to since Queen but also return to her old stomping ground that is Red Lobster. The “Megatron” rapper and the late-night host went on a dinner date at the restaurant’s Times Square location and indulged in its famous cheddar bay biscuits and Lobsteritas.
Minaj revisited her past in servicing people by giving surprised customers their orders. The 36-year-old artist also shared her pet peeves during that time, noting she was fired from “three or four” Red Lobster restaurants and shared a story of her hastily approaching two customers that didn’t tip and swiped her pen.
In a 2014 interview with GQ, Minaj shared while the experience was welcomed in terms of human interactions, other encounters were less than pleasing. “I like dealing with people, but I don’t really like a lot of bullsh*t, so maybe customer service wasn’t the best job for me,” she said.
