Nicki Minaj stands to make a profit off of her latest merchandise creation. Through a series of heated words and a near altercation with Cardi B, the Queens native decided to turn the phrase “Nicki Stopped My Bag” into a series of collectible items.
On Instagram, the “Ganja Burn” rapper unveiled backpacks, jackets, and shirts with the statement clear for all to see. The sentence was started on social media and accompanied scenarios where the Queen artist placed a halt on their progress.
The items arrive a few weeks after Cardi and Nicki engaged in a war of words during New York Fashion Week. Reportedly, Cardi claimed that someone was talking about her newborn daughter Kulture, and proceeded to approach Nicki about the matter. Cardi then expressed her stance on social media, stating that she let Nicki “attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat.” Since the debacle, Cardi B’s income has actually yet to slow up since the offers during fashion week from the Big Apple to Paris continued to pour in.
You never noticed the double entendre in “bag stopped, carry on”. My carry on luggage was stopped when I tried to board the flight. My carry on bag was stopped. Bwahahaaaahaha. I love writing raps #NickiStoppedMyBag

I saw a 20 dollar bill on the ground but it blew away before I could grab it. I think that Chun Li girl had something to do with it. @NICKIMINAJ #NickiStoppedMyBag pic.twitter.com/n3sM6B8ST4

Y’all know Nicki was the one behind getting Jacquees’ “Trip Remix” pulled so she could hop on the remix and redeem herself for releasing that horrible “boo’d up” remix. Stay woke. #NickiStoppedMyBag pic.twitter.com/s9z9B0UCa4
