Drake is gearing up for the imminent release of his fourth studio album, Views From The 6, and to get fans amped, his frequent collaborator Noah “40” Shebib gave a sneak peek on what to expect.
In an interview with The New York Times, Shebib said Views will be everything you’ve ever wanted to hear from the Toronto native, adding that there will be “A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns.”
On the topic of the production itself, listeners will be introduced to “untraditional sounds” and Shebib plans to “push the boundaries a little further.”
Views is slated for release in April, and is led by the track “Summer Sixteen,” which premiered on Drake’s OVO Sound Radio show in late January.
