TMZ reports that although Offset was allegedly part of a brawl within the jail, the rapper and his legal team will argue that the video footage doesn’t clearly show that Offset was involved in the scuffle, thus promoting the premise that there’s not enough evidence to withstand a trial against the Atlanta native or keep him behind bars.
This will be Offset’s fourth bail hearing, following his detainment in April for charges that stemmed from drugs to firearms. Two other members of Migos, Takeoff and Quavo, were also arrested the same time, but were eventually released. Authorities kept Offset jailed due to a criminal record.
Details on the case are still forthcoming.
