It’s looks like Offset and Cardi B have big plans for 2019. In a new interview with The New York Times, which was published on Thursday (Nov. 29), the Migos member suggested the two were possibly working on a joint album together.
“We haven’t even dropped an album yet,” he said when discussing working with his wife in the future. “That’s a whole other realm.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Migos star spoke about Cardi’s influence on him as a man and an artist. “I’d seen her potential, her vision, her grind. Whatever she does, she’s going to master it,” he explained. “She’s like me. She brings excitement and pressure to me, but I like that. She’s No. 1, so every time I’m hitting the charts, I’ve got to be Top 10.”
The happy couple have previously collaborated on several tracks including, “Um Yea” and “Who Want the Smoke?” with Lil Yachty. The Migos has also collaborated with Cardi on songs like “Motorsport” and “Drip.”
The joint album will have to come later though, as Offset is preparing to release his debut solo album on Dec. 14. He is the last member of the Migos to release a solo album, just behind Takeoff’s The Last Rocket. Quavo dropped his solo project Quavo Huncho in Oct. 2018.
