Sir Paul McCartney had a little difficulty getting into Tyga’s exclusive Grammy Awards after-party Monday night (Feb. 15). The legendary musician, along with Beck and the Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins, were seen by TMZ‘s cameras outside of Hollywood’s Argyle nightclub attempting to get past security, where they were denied entrance twice.
“How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit,” the former Beatle can be heard saying in the clip.
Cameras also caught Bow Wow and the man of the hour, Tyga, exiting the club. While Tyga was un-phased by the rock stars’ attempted entrances, a dumbfounded Bow Wow did his best to rationalize the entire situation.
“Maybe it’s the fact that we’re younger than Paul, and it’s the fact that…it’s a new generation…we really go out, like, we go to Argyle,” he said. “This is the spot that we go to, we’re familiar faces, they know us. But that’s crazy though!”
What’s the most head-scratching aspect of this scenario? The fact that these huge musicians were not invited to Tyga’s party, or the fact that they wanted to party with Tyga in the first place? Don’t feel bad for Paul and his crew- they made it over to the club Hyde for the Republic Records after-party.
