Paul McCartney kept it a trillion percent honest during a recent interview when he revealed that his pot habits are a thing of the past.
Sir Paul says says that he wanted to be a better role model for his kids and grandchildren so he has left smoking weed with his old rockstar lifestyle.
“I don’t do it anymore,” McCartney told the “>Daily Mirror. “Why? The truth is I don’t really want to set an example to my kids and grandkids. It’s now a parenting thing.”
It was no secret that Paul used to light up when he was still going hard with The Beatles, but things are different now for the 72-year-old. McCartney has five children—daughters Stella, Heather, Mary, and Beatrice, son, James, and eight grandchildren.

“Back then, I was just some guy around London having a ball, and the kids were little, so I’d just try and keep it out of their faces,” he said. The Rock N’ Roll legend says he uses a glass of red wine or some tequila to get loose nowadays.
“Instead of smoking a spliff, I’ll now have a glass of red wine or a nice margarita,” he said, adding, “The last time I smoked was a long time ago.”
