There is a vandal sneaking around the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Over the past week, someone has reportedly vandalized the Hollywood stars of Pharrell, Jennifer Lopez, and many other stars, TMZ reports.
The incidents reportedly occurred around Tuesday (Nov. 20). J. Lo’s star was reportedly one of the first stars spotted, sporting a line of black ink etched across it. The following day (Nov. 21), Pharrell’s star was seen covered with the same type of paint. Ellen DeGeneres and singer Michael Buble’s stars were also defaced.
According to TMZ, the price to clean and reseal the Hollywood stars will cost a whopping $1,000.
Interestingly enough, Pharrell was around the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week. He attended the ceremony for Snoop Dogg, whose star was added to the walk on Monday (Nov. 19). Pharrell, who earned his star in 2014, was in attendance at Snoop’s ceremony alongside Quincy Jones, and Dr. Dre.
Local authorities have opened a formal investigation into the vandalism crimes, although there is no suspect at this time.
