Post Malone and 15 other members of his team were aboard a private plane leaving Teterboro Airport in New Jersey Tuesday (April 21) headed to London. However, the pilot had to make an emergency landing after one of the tires blew.
In air-traffic audio obtained by TMZ, the pilot states they’ve lost a tire and asks for permission to circle above.
Sources close to TMZ, say an air traffic controller advised the pilot to continue the flight to Massachusetts to burn more fuel in hopes to have a smoother landing. The plane reportedly had 3,700 gallons of fuel to burn.
As of 3: 30 P.M. EST, the plane was still in the air burning more fuel, but at the time of this post has successfully landed.
On Monday night (Aug. 20) Post Malone was in New York when he performed along with Aerosmith and 21 Savage at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Malone didn’t leave the show empty-handed. The 23-year-old won Song of The Year for “Rockstar.”
Glad Post is okay.
