This particular level of randomness is unprecedented.
Founding member of the hip-hop group The Fugees, Pras Michel, decided to join in on the fun and partake in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. However, the two-time Grammy winner chose to drench himself with buckets of frigid H20 in Kim Jong Un’s neck of the woods.
According to Billboard.com, Michel dumped the water on his head along Pyongyang’s Taedong River, in the capital of North Korea.
When asked why, Michel who is also the documentarian behind the film “Skid Row,” believed doing so would make him unique.
“I thought I’d put a little twist to it,” he told the outlet. “When we go to places, my crew, we stick out. You can tell instantly these guys aren’t from this neck of the woods. But the people have been good to us.”
Once completed, Michel then passed the challenge on to former bandmate Lauryn Hill and Britain’s Prince Harry.
Lauryn Hill and Prince Harry. Good luck with that.
