Music is one of the few things that can bring people together from all walks of life. It doesn’t matter if the listener can even understand the lyrics to a song in another language, the aural vibes can unify nationalities at the drop of a single note.
Rolling stone Jae Franklin knows this mantra all too well. Having called a number of countries “home,” her influences and musical styles can’t be classified in simple terms. She blissfully blends R&B with a gumbo of production that ranges from soul to new age. Today (Feb. 1), she debuts her latest EP, Cheers To Life, on VIBE.com
Jae Franklin’s worldly views come from a life of traveling while studying the music and lifestyles abroad. Though. she’s from the States, the singer/songwriter has lived in South Korea and currently resides in UAE (United Arab Emirates).
