Teenear is a budding bombshell living her life to the fullest in Miami, but the allure of South Beech doesn’t interfere with her hustle as a rising R&B/pop singer. Neither does the hoards of men who try to snatch her up for one night only.
The 19-year-old vocalist isn’t the type of girl to open her heart to any willing stranger trying to become her new bae. Although she has yet to find that special someone, Teenear believes that her true love has to be “something else” that is completely different from the rest.
Recently, Teenear described what exactly she’s looking for in her perfect guy on her latest record “Someone Else.” With the help of Miami-based production trio WriteSounds, the Miami native describes how an ultimate fantasy can turn to every girl’s worst nightmare.
“Falling in love can be scary,” Teenear told VIBE. “When a girl is focused, the last thing she wants is to have a guy come in and distract her in all the right ways. No matter how hard you try to stop thinking about them, you can’t! No matter how hard you try to find a flaw in them, you can’t! They will have you doing things you never thought you’d do, saying things you never thought you’d say and all you can do is sit back and think “‘he’s really Something.”
“Something Else” follows her Travi$ Scott Scott cover of “Goosebumps” and the visual to her first offering of 2017 “Last Night,” which was produced by Sipping Sake. Her new single also comes a couple weeks before her scheduled performance at this year’s Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. Teenear doesn’t think she’ll find her true love anytime soon, but when she does she’ll definitely “be screaming ‘Baby, you’re something else!’
