Fans of The Purple One will finally get a glimpse into his private life when Prince’s Paisley Park compound opens for public tours starting in October.
According to Tyka Nelson, Prince’s sister, turning the compound into a museum is a plan that has been in the works long before the “Purple Rain” singer’s death this past April.
“Opening Paisley Park is something that Prince always wanted to do and was actively working on,” she wrote in a statement. “Only a few hundred people have had the rare opportunity to tour the estate during his lifetime. Now, fans from around the world will be able to experience Prince’s world for the first time as we open the doors to this incredible place.”
Tickets for tours go on sale Friday (Aug. 26) for $38, and tours will begin Oct. 6, 2016.
