The 2013 edition of the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival will included performances by Pusha-T, Redman and others.
On Thursday (April 18), the festival’s official Twitter account released a slew of performers including Redman, EPMD, Push and a link to purchase early bird tickets. Despite retracting the announcement from their page, the ticket page on the site reads: Early bird tix to #BHF13‘s Final Day w/@therealredman EPMD @PUSHA_T @DizzyWright & more are ON SALE NOW. The site also tells guests to stay tuned for the announcement of the 2013 headliner/hip-hop icon, who will be performing with their surprise “friends” at the event.
The three-day festival, now in its ninth year, will take place July 8-12 at Brooklyn Bridge Park, along the shores of the East River. In the past, acts such as Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip and others have graced the stage. In addition to the performances, a number of activities including: panel discussions, exhibitions, parties, an award show and a family-friendly block party take place. BHF is more than a concert or outdoor fair; it is a family reunion for lovers of this great culture.
