One person is reportedly in critical condition after a stabbing took place at Pusha T’s concert in Toronto on Tuesday (Nov. 20), according to The Associated Press. Toronto Police Constable David Hopkinson revealed on Wednesday (Nov. 21), that a total of four people were being treated at a hospital for injuries related to a violent incident that broke out in the vicinity of the Danforth Music Hall.
While one of the people is in critical condition, Hopkinson confirms that the three others are being treated for non-life threatening injuries. It is unclear how the stabbing occurred. In a video taken during the concert, a group of people appear to be throwing drinks at Pusha T before attempting to rush the stage. They were blocked by security, however.
Hopkinson said that when someone rushed the stage, several people got hurt, but it is still unclear whether the stabbing occurred at that moment or somewhere else around the venue. Police officials reportedly didn’t discover a stabbing had taken place until they found someone who had been at the concert with stab wounds at the local hospital.
As previously reported, Pusha T accused Drake of hiring goons to throw drinks and paint on stage in an attempt to sabotage his set. Despite the uproar, Push completed his concert.
Hopkinson suggests the stabbing may have been related to “whatever the feud is.” Pusha T is not believed to be involved in any way. Police are still investigating.
