It looks like music lovers are in for a handful of earbud treats hopefully set to debut this year. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Queen Latifah shared some exciting news that a wave of music might be crashing onto the Internet soon.
After various photos of rap’s elite like Andre 3000 to the Queen herself in the studio with Q-Tip surfaced on social media, fans were led to believe that fresh tunes were on their way. According to Latifah, we’ll just have to wait and see.
“There’s a lot of good stuff brewing,” she said. “So basically I think it’s important for the hip-hop heads and the world to keep their eye on what’s coming out of this area in the coming months. Some good stuff happening.”
Queen Latifah, who’ll make an appearance on VH1’s Dear Mama special (May 8), will also return in front of the camera when she takes on the role of Master P’s mother in the Louisiana native’s forthcoming biopic.
