Budding Brooklyn rhyme wizard Radamiz keeps an air of nostalgia in his flow. Recently, the BK native rolled out the new visuals for his gritty, yet motivational Dre Dollasz-produced “Sumner” — which reminds us of when NYC reigned on top in hip-hop.
Directed by Slack Barrett and FifthGod, the camera captures authentic and everyday moments of life in the Rotten Apple. Radamiz steps to the mic with laser focus and a steady, yet rugged flow dipped in an intriguing perspective on life in the ‘hood. This is sure to satisfy your boom-bap hip-hop itch.
“The visual aims to bring a beautiful and new aesthetic to how Brooklyn’s rougher neighborhoods are normally portrayed,” Radamiz said via email.
The song comes from forthcoming project Writeous. Peep the video above.
