Thanks to the Wu-Tang clan, one couple’s face-off on Divorce Court was the talk of the Web earlier this month. One man claimed that after a night spent out with the legendary rap collective, his woman had slept with the entire squad. Denying that she was a “bust-down” and would conduct herself in that manner, the woman denied the accusations. The rest? Viral video history.
MTV News sat down with Raekwon to get the low-down on if the Divorce Court woman had actually “gave Wu some Tang” like her man claimed. He admitted that he had to take a second before concluding that he hadn’t recognized her.
“Nah, I don’t remember her,” he said. “Sometimes these shows, they’re made to excite us and keep us feelin’ good about it though.”

Alluding to the possibility that the story on the show was not authentic, Raekwon did not completely rule out the notion, however. He stated that while he was not involved, the Wu-Tang name does stretch far and wide.
“But you never know. One thing about Wu-Tang is, there’s nine of us, but there’s 9,000 of us too,” he said. “Everybody that we know, they take on this name of Wu-Tang. Maybe she met another division or somethin’ and they had fun that night but I don’t remember her. It wasn’t me.”
