Rahzel Jr., a.k.a Razah Rahz, is out to prove himself worthy outside of the shadow of his beat-boxing father Rahzel, formerly of The Roots. The Bronx native follows up the success from his breakthrough single “The Culture” with the visual adaptation of his next banger.
With the help of singer XIII, Rahz tells the story of his struggles on the come-up in “Almost There.” The visual, directed by Chris Zino, comes in support of his forthcoming project The Culture: The B-Side. The EP will entail what life was like growing up with his father, transitioning from college to the real world, obstacles, family life, and expressing his love for the Hip Hop culture.
Rahzel Jr.’s new body of work is limited with guest verses, however Rahzel had to recruit his father to make an appearance on the EP. The Culture: The B-Side is set to feature heavyweight production from Amadeus, Easy Moe Bee, Miami native STREETRUNNER, and more. Look out for the Ep coming soon.
