Kanye West’s “Famous” video has pretty much become famous all on its own for its heavy dose of star power.
In case you missed it, West debuted the visual on a 100-foot screen at the L.A. Forum in front of 8,000 people last Friday (June 24). The video, which was inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s painting “Sleep” features 12 of today’s most famous artists, entertainers and figures including Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Ray J all naked in bed.
After the video’s release Kanye tweeted (and deleted) saying, “Can somebody sue me already #Illwait.” Although no lawsuits have rolled in, an interesting response from Ray J definitely has. According to Entertainment Tonight, Ray J responded to the video by saying, “I’m just trying to stay positive.”
The “One Wish” singer continued by saying, “I’m engaged. My marriage is all messed up ’cause of craziness. I’m not part of nothing crazy. I walk down a good path. My fiancee tripping. It’s all bad in my world, and that ain’t cool.” The singer and his fiancée, Princess Love, have been engaged five months – a process that’s been chronicled on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
It seems as if Ray J isn’t interested in being famous for being depicted in the “Famous” video. The singer is focused on making his home and his life a happy one. He ended his comments on the video by saying, “Don’t put me part of nothing that’s weird, that don’t make no sense. Can I grow up?”
