As Chicago’s own Ravyn Lenae becomes one of city’s crown jewels of R&B with her recently released CRUSH EP, she gives us the colorful and vibrantly retro visuals to her new single, “4 Leaf Clover.” The Andre Muir-directed visual takes us to the ’50s as we see the Chi-Town songbird and the man of her dreams play hard to get with each other.
The pair, much like Lenae’s album title, seemingly have cute, jealous crushes on each other while each being in relationships. “4 Leaf Clover” is a bop that beautifully expresses the burning desire of being with someone you can’t have, while the stunning and creative visuals captivate and draw listeners deeper into the record.
Ravyn Lenae is also on her first headlining tour performing her new EP. (She’s currently on the European leg.) Her next performance in the United States will be at the Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, Calif. on May 19, followed her return of her city of Chicago at the Pitchfork Festival on July 20.
