Remy Ma is reportedly back in the hospital following the birth of her baby girl on Dec. 15. The rapper reportedly had an emergency surgery on Tuesday (Dec. 18) after suffering from excessive bleeding due to post-birthing complications, TMZ reports.
The “All The Way Up” artist reportedly received a blood transfusion. TMZ reports that the surgery was a success.
Remy and her husband Papoose announced the birth of their healthy baby girl on Instagram earlier this week. Pap previously informed fans that Remy was going through a “tough labor,” and asked for everyone to send prayers. “My wife is still fighting through it. She’s a warrior,” he said in a post on his Instagram Stories at the time.
Last year, the State of Culture panelist suffered a miscarriage due to an ectopic pregnancy.
Thankfully, Remy is in better shape now and is reportedly expected to be released from the hospital within the week.
