Rich Homie Quan got into a bit of hot water when his unfinished song “I Made It Questionable” leaked on the Internet. The questionable track (pun intended) raised a few eyebrows with its lyrics: “Don’t want your ho, just want the cookie from her/ She tried to resist, so I took it from her.”
The Atlanta rapper released a statement apologizing for the leak, saying the lyrics don’t support the rape claim. While appearing on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Quan expanded on the debacle further.
“That was blown out of proportion, man. If you listen, it’s just good music,” he said. “It wasn’t even supposed to leave the studio. It was a studio leak, so I apologized for it. It ain’t what I’m onto. Plus, I’m too little to rape anybody.”
