Young Thug has been on a roll with ruffling up feathers this year. We’ve all been so entangled in Thugger’s ongoing Lil Wayne trolling and Barter 6 rollout that his rough patch with Rich Homie Quan got swept under the rug.
Last month, Young Thug referred to the former Rich Gang rapper as “Bitch Homie Quan” at a concert. This shocked the masses since not too long before that, Thug was calling him “Bae” and “hubbie” as terms of endearment. During a sit-down with ESPN’s Highly Questionable, Quan shared his initial reaction about the incident and his current feelings towards his former bro.
“He’s always my brother for life, man. No hard feelings,” he said. “Right now there’s just a lot going on. I’m still the same Quan. I’ve never said anything to trash Thug or banish his name because that’s not where I come from. I’m all about giving blessings, so I wish Thug the best of success.”
Dan Le Batard wasn’t letting the fluffy answer fly, and pressed Quan about if he truly was okay with the sentiments. “My first reaction was, ‘My brother called me Bitch Homie Quan?'” he answered. “To be honest, not to get in my feelings, it hurt. Not hurt as in it made me cry. Just, I would never disrespect you point blank period. Especially when we have each others’ numbers. There’s certain stuff you do and certain stuff you don’t do.”

It wasn’t all Rich Gang talk, though. Rich Homie also opened up about burglary, fighting fans and how going to jail closed the door on a lot of his hopes and dreams.
“My most desperate moment would have to be when I got locked up for burglary,” he said. “Keep in mind, I graduated with a 3.2 GPA, so at that time I knew I had a felony which was like an F on my report card. I can’t be the doctor I wanted to be anymore. I can’t be that lawyer I wanted to be anymore. I played baseball from 14-18, so no more baseball.”
