Rick Ross and 50 Cent have been at each other’s necks, at least on social media. The rappers have engaged in a war of words that teeters between Twitter and Instagram, but their feud has been an ongoing thing since 2009.
Their beef sort of escalated earlier this month when Rozay brought Fifty’s son into the mix. “@50cent your son applied to be a intern at @untouchablemmg and it Will be processed. As you well know I got 40 cars/200 acres and a mower w/ his name on it. #ImWhatYouUsedToBe #BLACKMARKET Dec. 4,” the “Sorry” rapper wrote on Instagram.
Fifty then saw a video of Ross stating the same thing, and simply said, “That wasn’t a good idea.” Their names have been out of the news concerning their strain, until now. Ross stopped by The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore to join the program’s “Keep It 100” segment.
Within the airing, Wilmore jokingly posed a question to Ross that took some minor pondering. “The universe offers you a deal. You can end racism forever, but you have to become good, close friends with 50 Cent,” Wilmore said. “You have to hang out at the pool together, you got to go eat together, take ski trips together. I don’t care, whatever, you guys are pals. Do you do it?”
Without breaking a sweat, Ross says, “I’ma keep it 100. I’m going to stop racism. If I gotta take him to Wing Stop and have him eat some lemon pepper wings to stop racism, that’s what I’m gonna do.”
If that’s all that it takes, do you think Fifty and Ross can break bread over a round of wings? Check out the clip below.
