Rick Ross wants the world to know that though Meek Mill and Wale are bickering once again, Maybach Music Group isn’t going anywhere. MMG’s head honcho took to Snapchat yesterday (Oct. 21) to share his thoughts on the now reignited beef between his artists.
“Got a few calls, n***as asking me about my little brothers, the squad. It’s MMG forever n***a. The empire,” he said. Rozay further elaborated on the rap collective’s current state of affairs in an Instagram video from Wale’s Atlanta show. Though Mill claimed that he was making moves to have his former friend exiled from the rap collective, Rozay confirmed that the “White Shoes” rapper is still very much a part of MMG.
“Tonight @wale tore down as @djkhaled would say “Another One” !!! Never Question THE EMPIRE #MMG,” he said.
The rappers’ online confrontation began after Wale discussed the infamous Drake vs. Meek Mill beef that resulted in diss records and Internet memes galore in an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club. Of the summer rap battle, the DMV rapper said that his labelmate was completely unprepared for a battle he started. “I honestly think he brought a pencil to a gunfight. He ain’t even bring a knife…a pencil, a piece of paper [and] tried to paper-cut him to death.”

Though the Mill’s diss record was largely slammed online with many claiming he lost the war, the Dreamchasers rapper didn’t appreciate what Wale said and blasted him yesterday in a lengthy Instagram post.
The now-deleted post saw the “Check” MC call Wale “jealous,” “miserable,” and a “broke rapper,” before he told his former friend to “stay away” from him.
