
Rick Ross knows when it’s time to pay homage. The MMG boss is still mourning after the fallen rapper Shawty Lo died last month in a fatal car crash. Rozay recently gave us a new verse for the track “I’m Da Man.” which is the Bowen Homes’ 2007 hit single. The track ironically had a remix that featured Ross and Lil Wayne where Ross shouted the rapper out for his street maneuvers.

Ross brought back that highlight moment of ’07 when he jumped back on the track for a Shawty Lo tribute. Ross raps “Shawty Lo, Shawty Lo! Im finna smoke up one my nigga God bless ya soul.”

It was a sad day for Atlanta when the rapper passed. His funeral was held this past Saturday on October 1st. The rapper — whose real name is Carlos Walker — was laid to rest in College Park, Georgia at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Before he was laid to rest, Lo’s close friends took his casket for a stop at his favorite strip club one last time. The bro code.
