Rihanna and Beyonce came away as big winners at the NRJ Music Awards on Saturday, Jan. 23.
On the strength of Rated R and a host of collaborations in 2009, including “Run This Town” with Jay-Z and Kanye West, Rihanna picked up an award for International Female Artist of the Year. Landing the award just one year after winning International Song of the Year, Rihanna was present at the ceremony, which took place in Cannes, France.
Beyonce, joining Robbie Williams, earned an NRJ Award of Honor, the organization’s top honor for achievement in music.
Lady Gaga, Tokio Hotel, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas and Christophe Willem also took home awards (see full list below).
