That universal sigh of disappointment you hear is the Navy reacting to news that Rihanna has canceled her 2016 Grammy performance.
According to TMZ, the Anti singer was on antibiotics for three days leading up to her performance Monday nigh (February 15). It’s reported Rih was at the Staple Center for the award ceremony but did not walk the red carpet.
Sources close to the night’s ceremony tell TMZ that Rihanna was scheduled to perform “Kiss It Better” but unfortunately has been battling bronchitis. She rehearsed twice but after seeing a doctor, was placed on vocal rest for 48 hours as to not permanently damage her vocal chords.
