Rihanna‘s Diamond Ball is always an event, and it looks like the 2018 shindig will also be a night to remember. The fourth annual event, which benefits the Clara Lionel Foundation, will be held on Sept. 13 and will feature Issa Rae as the host. Childish Gambino will serve as the night’s entertainment. “So Excited to announce that my sis @IssaRae is hosting this year’s #DiamondBall in exactly one month!!” the singer tweeted on Monday (Aug. 13). “AND @donaldglover is closing out the night with a special performance! SEPT. 13. NYC. Find out how you can attend at 2018diamondball.com @claralionelfdn,” she continued. The Clara Lionel Foundation was founded in 2012 and “supports and funds groundbreaking and effective education, health and emergency response programs around the world.” In the past, the Diamond Ball saw the likes of attendees Beyonce, JAY-Z, Lil Kim and many more. Last year, comedian Dave Chappelle hosted the event, which was also held to benefit the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Maria. Overall, Rih’s charity was able to raise $840,000 from the auction portion. “The more you drink, the more inspired you’ll be to donate money … and help kids around the world,” said Rihanna to her guests at the event.
